The pergola

Here is the first view of the new pergola on the back of the house, and the red door with dark brown trim. I love the colors and the pergola makes the back yard feel like a very different place! As you can see, I still have to finish painting the trim on the bathroom window and the basement windows. Next step is to lay down the flagstones on the patio. I need to start looking at plants to start deciding what I want growing in this yard, too. I think I am going to keep an eye out for cool pots to place next to the outside posts so I can plant a climbing something or other on the pergola. I also need to watch for screaming sales on lawn furniture, now.
