It is really rude to wake up to 6+ inches of snow on the first week of March! We have been having weather in the low 50's for a few days, so this was not welcome at all! Fortunately, much of it melted by the next day, though there are still pockets of residue in shadowy and north facing areas.
I really appreciated the pergola this winter! It catches the snow that would have accumulated on the back patio right in my path to the garage! No more snow shovelling just to reach my car! Of course, that means it drips like crazy when it is melting, but I can live with that. I think it is a small price to pay to save me some labor.
Still love my classy red doors!

No snow here... still. And I'm totally fine with that! The upside is - everything is in bloom. The downside is - it makes me wonder if we're going to have an ugly/brown summer with everything peaking already. Ah well, I'm enjoying it while it lasts!
