First Snow

I woke this morning to find the mountains covered in a blanket of white.  We just barely got rid of last year's snow!  I will admit, though, that the new snow on the mountains feels sort of exhilarating!  It is really feeling like fall to me!  September was just an extension of summer, but October seems to be making up for lost time.  It is cold and rainy today... it feels just like Seattle!  Some people complain when the weather turns this way, but I enjoy it!  We have lots of sun around here, a little bit of cloudy, wet weather is a nice change!
