They were yummy, but the store bought ones still won out on the taste test. They must do something to the caramel to make it so much softer? I am going to try one more time on Halloween and then probably throw in the towel until next year and move on to more Thanksgiving-ish endeavors.

note to self: buy the caramel wraps that are in the produce section. They are MUCH easier to work with ,faster and stay soft. Stephanie introduced me to them a few years back & I haven't looked back since!
Hey! I just had to tell you that I did use the wraps for the next batch and they were SO MUCH BETTER! :)
