Helena is now a BRUNETTE!

Helena has always wanted brown hair. She has asked me to dye her hair ever since I can remember! I always said "No", of course. I wasn't about to mess around with hair dyes and a little girl.

Two weeks before prom, I finally relented and we bought a couple of boxes of do-it-yourself brunette hair color.

We had a fun time this evening in the kitchen while the boys were out. She was so excited, even when the dye looked an alarming shade of purply black in her hair! I will admit I had lots of fun, too. It is good to have happy times together.

An hour after we started, Helena (my sandy blonde) is now brown haired! And VERY happy about it!
