We are going to go visit my parents in Washington state!
That doesn't sound like such an adventure, you say?
We'll spend one of the weekends there at the West Beach Resort on Orcas Island in a cottage on the beach!
This one, in fact.
I AM VERY EXCITED!!!
The kids and I are going for the first weekend and second week of June and will stay with my parents while exploring both west and east of the Puget Sound. Then, Bill will fly in just in time for the Orcas Island get away on the second weekend, also with my parents. Finally, we will head south for a road trip to see the Redwood Forest in northern California, getting home on or before the third weekend.
At least, I hope we can add that final stage of the vacation in. It depends on if our vacation budget can extend that far.
