Winter Weather

I woke late this morning (after sleeping in as long as possible) to discover that it had snowed a bunch during the night and was still storming!

Now that Thanksgiving is over, it is perfect timing for a snowstorm to put us in the mood for Christmas! 

I love the snow during the Christmas season!  After Christmas is over, I want the snow to be gone.  Unfortunately, we still have to endure 2+ months of winter after the festivities.  Hmmm.

Bill and the kids ventured out in the cold and snow to find a Christmas tree, while I stayed home in the warm, nursing my illness.  This is the first time ever that the family didn't go get one all together.  Still, they brought one home and Bill and I decorated it.  Helena decorated the rest of the house.

I am hoping that we have a better Christmastime this year than last.
